Against the backdrop of the Venetian/Ottoman conflict, Shakespeare’s exploration of power, love, desire, jealousy, prejudice, racism and vulnerability moves between the intensely intimate and the politically charged. He doesn’t let his audience look away for a moment and the result is a piece of theatre that takes your breath away.

You will read OTHELLO online (Zoom) and then go to THE THEATRE ROYAL HAYMARKET in London for TIM MORRIS’ unbelievably exciting production, starring the indomitable DAVID HAREWOOD and TOBY JONES.
