Against the backdrop of the Venetian/Ottoman conflict, Shakespeare’s exploration of power, love, desire, jealousy, prejudice, and vulnerability moves between the intensely intimate and the politically charged. He doesn’t let his audience look away for a moment and the result is a piece of theatre that takes your breath away.

We will read OTHELLO in a gorgeous home near Green Park in London and then go to THE THEATRE ROYAL HAYMARKET for TIM MORRIS’ unbelievably exciting production, starring the indomitable DAVID HAREWOOD and TOBY JONES.
